Sony Pictures Television Digital Networks is currently seeking a dynamic, pro-active team player to manage the programming team of the Latin American offering of our flagship digital network brand, Crackle. This position will report to the GM of Crackle Latin America. Job responsibilities include
-Program the content on the network on a day to day basis -Develop and implement programming strategy for Crackle Latin America -Manage a programming coordinator to schedule content on homesite and syndication platforms (including online, mobile and IPTV partners) -Manage a $1 million programming budget -Work with ad sales to address programming related sales needs
Primary Responsibilities
-Program and syndicated implementations of channel (may include networks like YouTube, Hulu, Myspace, AOL, Verizon, AT&T, Adobe) Curate a content offering of movies, television and original programming tailored for the Crackle audience. Create editorial copy in line with Crackle tone and style guidelines Provide direction for all content releases on Crackle Maintain master programming grids Review and analyze complex avail lists to create a compelling content offering while maintaining a budget Create high value programming stunts and packages for premium advertiser integration Analyze success of programming initiatives and make recommendations for future pick-ups Plan merchandising calendar for all content on the network Review pitch materials to aid in greenlight process for original productions and content acquisition deals -Collaborate with Crackle programming team from home office to align programming strategy. -Negotiate and acquire movie, TV and original content from Sony and 3rd parties. Work with business affairs team in closing and papering those deals. Manage licensee relationships and act as account manager, including providing performance reports and following up on partner payments -Provide programming direction for Crackle launches on new platform implementations and work with multiple teams to hit go-live dates -Manage a programming coordinator -Input metadata and schedule merchandising assets in content management system, as needed. -Collaborate with online and mobile distribution teams to develop programming stunts across partners based on content release strategy -Forge and manage relationships across all SPT digital operational teams (distribution, operations, legal, ad sales, marketing, rights clearances, public relations) to ensure network is running smoothly -Work closely with marketing to evolve the Crackle brand. Support development of marketing plans and promotions. -Understand marketplace and track competitive networks to ensure Crackle is a competitive offering
