Director of Athletics
Our College is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Director of Athletics to lead our NCAA Division I athletics program which includes 19 men's and women's sports programs that compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletics Conference (MAAC) and the Northeast Conference for women's bowling. This individual supervises all central administration staff and coaches; and is responsible for the oversight of the athletic department budgets with the ability to work creatively with limited resources. The Athletics Director assures that all programs, coaches, staff, and student athletes are in compliance with the policies, procedures, and regulations of our College, the NCAA, the MAAC, and the Northeast Conference. The qualified director is directly and actively involved with all fundraising efforts for the athletics program; and works in collaboration with other administrators in terms of strategic planning for facilities and budget development. We are seeking a director who will continue to insure that athletics is integrated with the entire College community in order to provide a positive, educational, and formative experience for our culturally and socioeconomic diverse student athletes. The student centered director must be committed to the Jesuit and Catholic mission of our College, educational excellence, and integrity. This position reports directly to the Associate Vice-President for Student Life who is the chief student affairs officer of the College.
