Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The candidates will be responsible for: * Continuing execution of the internal communications strategy, utilizing a variety of media, ensuring that the PT mission, vision, values and priorities are consistently reinforced and understood * Continuing employee focused communication campaign, including: executive management briefings, town hall meetings, opinion and satisfaction surveys, employee focus groups, Neo posts, and other items in support of the PT division * Supplying report/metrics on communication channel effectiveness and recommending improvements * Assisting in the development of best practices, governance, and gating process for communications. This work should be programmatic and set the foundation to be utilized for all PT programs * Serving as Communications Specialist on the M&C program, complete detailed comms plan, work with vendor on all comms materials, supply leadership with comms materials as requested. (2011-2012 – 60% of time) * Assisting on any other PT Program as communication advisor or lead as directed * Training program teams on communication tenants and processes, acting as resource for smaller programs * Serving as gate review on programs to confirm all acceptable communication processes are captured in program plan and executed on schedule (not putting program at risk)

Dollar responsibilities * Responsible for managing the day to day activities for all PT communications * Responsible for working within the scope of overall communications budget as applicable

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Related work experience 5 to 7 years experience in prior communications and corporate work environment; emphasis on strategic communications, planning and execution
Formal education or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination
Skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organization and planning skills; ability to work independently, take initiative and produce results; ability to work on several projects concurrently; understanding of the media industry and global workforce; ability to identify, analyze and develop communication solutions on issues which address the needs of PT and has context relevant to our business.
