Digital Category Manager
Determine the digital product needs for the assigned categories/divisions and make recommendations on products to support the digital initiatives. Category growth strategies including stealing share, understanding key customer data, leveraging CTMG digital product lines, utilizing CMR data to quantify opportunities and developing bundled online/print solutions, etc. Determine the appropriate digital metrics for the division and communicate the performance of those metrics to the divisional teams. Work with agencies connected to the divisions to forge relationships with the decision makers that impact digital spending. Use those relationships to drive more existing digital revenue, new business and gather strategic insights. Manage Digital Champions in the support of their assigned divisions. Digital Product Champions are responsible for helping their assigned reps and divisions achieve their digital revenue goals through quarterly account action plans, building effective campaign proposals, going on calls to help sell into those campaigns, support the rep in the optimization of the campaigns and then helping to resell the clients. Actively develop relationships with sister properties to stay up to speed on their digital efforts for Regional Accounts and new business. Work with Marketing and Sales Manager to gain a thorough understanding of the Regional Accounts and local competition's digital options and strategies. Develop strong clients and agency relationships at all levels. Present cash flow positive pricing, evaluate digital price structure by category and suggest new directions on pricing that develops new streams of revenue. Actively develop relationships with sister properties to stay up to speed on their digital efforts for Regional Accounts and new business. Utilize support roles (AOF, Planner, Marketing, etc.) in support of revenue for Regional Accounts.
