Digital Advertising Specialist/Account Coordinator

- Reporting. Monitor general site statistics for clients websites and digital products (e.g., eNewsletters, eblasts, and webinars) using Google Analytics or like software.
- Optimization. Partner with sales team, association, and productions teams to optimize campaign performance based on client goal. Optimization includes: managing campaign delivery, mitigating discrepancies, and confirming advertiser goals are being fulfilled as scheduled.
- Campaign Management. Implement, monitor and optimize online advertising campaigns using DFP, BanManPro, AdJuggler or other tools in a timely and accurate manner.
- New Client Onboarding. Work with clients IT departments to set up ad serving codes.
- Keep track of contracts. Enter contracts into our electronic system, organize contracts in binders and compare them to our reports at the end of the month.
- Traffic advertising artwork. At the end of each product sales cycle, collect ad materials and forward to the production department. This includes calling/emailing advertisers to remind them of our deadlines and following up until all materials have been collected.
- Update databases. Account coordinators work with sales managers to update client databases by removing old contact information, entering in new contacts and segmenting contacts by categories.
- Attend internal meetings. Account Coordinators are expected to attend business unit meetings to review and discuss client initiatives and strategy.
- Attend client meetings. Account Coordinators are expected to participate in client meetings and attend conferences and trade shoes on an as-needed basis.
- Assist with promotional writing and marketing. Work with Creative Services Manager to assist in the development of promotional efforts, to provide their feedback and offer suggestions for improvement. This includes tracking responses to promotions and reporting leads to National Sales Managers.
- Prospecting. This requires a thorough understanding of the accounts you work, being able to identify advertisers that are a good fit for the magazine's audience, and generally staying on top of industry trends.
- Positive, upbeat attitude and high degree of energy
- Skill and experience using Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated willingness to take on new and challenging projects
- Intense attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own projects
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively crisp and concise communication, both verbal and written
- Interest in new digital media and technologies
- 1 - 3 years work experience
- Experience in publishing or advertising
- Ad trafficking experience with a major commercial ad serving platform, such as DART for Publishers, Atlas, Ad Juggler
- Familiarity with Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) standards and best practices
- Knowledge of HTML
