Part-Time About the Job At LoJack Corporation, we are the leaders in tracking and recovery systems. Nobody has had the success we?ve had in recovering stolen assets like cars, trucks, motorcycles, bulldozers and laptops. Today, LoJack is diversifying its services and helping protect and rescue people at risk of wandering, including those with autism and Alzheimer?s. To support all of these efforts, we are currently seeking a part-time Corporate Communications Specialist to work in our corporate headquarters in Westwood, MA. The Corporate Communications Specialist will assist in executing the department?s communications strategies and programs externally and internally. Responsibilities will include developing content for various communications channels, including traditional media, social media, the company?s website, Intranet and internal newsletter. The specialist will also assist with event planning, corporate presentations and A/V editing. This position will work closely with the company?s Marketing Communications department, as well as its Public Relations agency. Candidates should possess 5 to 7 years of proven writing/journalism experience in a corporate communications environment or public relations firm. In addition, a four-year college degree in English/Communications is preferred. Other requirements include: proven track record in successfully executing Corporate Communications programs; knowledge of wire, monitoring and social media services; knowledge of HTML, SharePoint, Photoshop and editing tools is preferred; excellent project management skills; and experience working with web/graphic designers and other creative professionals. 15-20 hours per week would be preferred.
