Netflix is looking for a Coordinator, Corporate and Consumer Communications to assist a small, agile team of professionals managing the Company’s image and reputation globally.
The Coordinator will be responsible for managing the submission of press releases, updating the Company media center, monitoring media coverage and ordering high-profile clips.
The successful candidate will also handle social media editorial schedules across multiple agencies, manage the Netflix complimentary subscription program and assist in the creation and distribution of b-roll and editorial collateral (including management of the approvals process).
Finally, the Coordinator is expected to assist in a wide range of event management tasks, from invitations and RSVP processing to vendor relations. They will also maintain group budgets and calendars as well as scheduling activity on behalf of the group.
The successful candidate will:
* Be capable of operating effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving, unpredictable media environment and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously under deadline. * Be effective at working with a broad range of partners and vendors, both inside Netflix and outside, including PR agencies in North America, Latin America and Europe. * Be able to function autonomously and effectively as a member of a loosely-coupled, but highly-aligned team. Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Coordinator position will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a corporate or agency setting and demonstrate both a desire and capacity to work in a newsroom-style environment that requires quick thinking, great calm and a good sense of humor. Solid computer skills are required.
