Cisco Consultant BT Business Solutions Group Columbus, OH Role Scope: · The incumbent will be a fully integrated team member · Project-based responsibilities · Design · Configuration · Documentation · Knowledge transfer · Will provide operational support as part of a team Projects: · Cisco refresh · New build for part of the organization · Install switches and core 6509 · Design · Equipment specification recommendation and validation · Configuration · Debug · As built documentation · Knowledge sharing / transfer – KQ for other BT Consultants · Migration to PeopleSoft from home grown applications and moved into data center · Bandwidth increase Technical Competencies: • Cisco-centric Consultant (CCIE – Routing & Switching strongly desired) • Strong Route & Switch experience, particularly with 6509 • Experience implementing/supporting VLANs • Experience setting security on switches • CheckPoint & ASA experience • Nexus experience/knowledge desired • Voice background is a plus, but is not required Please note: · Existing authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis is required. · Travel is an inherent part of this position. · No relocation support is currently available for this position. · BT is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
