The Consultant and Integration Engineer position primarily provides support for the installation of CCH corporate tax software products (Indirect or Direct) and associated processes related to the integration of applicable software applications (e.g. Sales Tax Office, Global Integrator, etc.). The role includes consulting services that are focused on gathering requirements from customers and performing configuration of tax and business rules within the applicable systems. The focus is ensuring that consulting services, integration services, system implementation and training are delivered with optimal customer satisfaction. The Consultant is also responsible for managing their utilization, time allocation among multiple projects, assisting sales team in generation of services, monitoring scope of services and reporting changes to project managers, and assisting VAR's, development partners, and implementation partners with the integration of CCH Indirect and Direct software products into third-party software applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Installation of Sales Tax Office system into client environments
. Assisting in gathering of system requirements
. Participate in tax interface design changes and review of code requirements
. Responsible for creating code changes to tax interface using Microsoft technologies under general supervision
. Work remote from home location
. Travel will be approximately 50 - 60%



Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION:
HS diploma or equivalent and 6 years of Consulting Services related to software integration

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science; OR, if no degree, 6 years Consulting Services related to software integration

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
. 2 years of delivering software solutions to corporations
. 2 years of performing consulting services related to software integrations
. 2 years of hands-on experience installing software products into Microsoft Windows environment
. 1 to 2 years hands-on experience in a software integration role, supporting web based applications, including work with web service Application Program Interface (API's), for installation on premise
. 2 years using .Net, C#
. 2 years using SQL Server and demonstrating relational database concepts (e.g., OOPs, T-SQL, queries, triggers, stored procedures, query optimization, cursors, views)
. Communicating technical solutions to a non-technical audience


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
. Experience delivering software solutions with 2 years hands on; into corporate environments
. Experience with embedded software integration with 2 years overall experience, with web service integrations and SQL database platforms
. Experience with 1 to 3 years programming experience, in a working environment, with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 .NET or higher
. Experience database programming for 1 to 3 year's experience including Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Access, or ODBC client/server
. Experience developing .NET (e.g., promoting windows services, web services, WCF, XML, XSLT, XPath, WPF, Win-Forms, multi-threaded programming)
. Experience providing customer support and troubleshooting technical assistance, including 24/7 support
