Communications Specialist
Title: Communications Specialist Location: Remote-Remote The Communication Specialist reports to the Senior Vice President, Communications for Global Business Services (GBS). GBS is a global organization consisting of operations, technology, retail measurement product leadership, stastical methodologies, and other support functions (a team of approximately 30,000 people). This position will play a key role in developing and executing GBS' communication strategies and engaging associates and clients through consistent, timely, proactive messaging.
Job Responsibilities: * Consult with GBS and Nielsen senior managers to develop communications plans, messaging and tactics tailored to key audiences. * Develop and manage critical communications infrastructure processes (all employee teleconferences, email distribution lists, web chats, web casts, employee and client meetings, and others as needed). * Leverage a variety of channels (presentatitions, reports, newsletters, meetings/events, teleconferences, etc.) to communicate key messages. Prepare and edit documents. * Write, compile, analyze, interpret and integrate information for executive level presentations, reports, newsletters, and other deliverables * Manage GBS Employee Recognition and Culture programs Required: * Prior experience in communications or marketing * Exceptional PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills * Excellent communications skills - verbal and written * Strong project management skills * Self-directed, multi-tasker, high energy level, ability to work in dynamic, fast paced environment * Collaborative, ability to consult with colleagues at all levels of the organization * Prior marketing experience helpful
