San Francisco-based direct marketing agency is seeking a project manager to be our client-liaison in Medford. This is a short-term contractors assignment with the possibility to convert to long-term employment. This person will be based in the clients office, but work in service of the agencys account director. The primary responsibility will be managing communications about advertising project details between the two offices. We are seeking candidates with experience in direct marketing project management, either with an internal creative department or at a marketing / advertising agency. The job requires skillful juggling of many details as we build complex marketing catalogs, direct mail and retail advertising. Topics will include gathering product information, coordinating photography samples, gathering client feedback on proposed artwork, and coordinating legal reviews. Candidates must demonstrate prior examples of successfully accomplishing multiple priorities each day, including handling situations such as gathering needed marketing information from very busy staff members. This is a fast-paced environment, and only accomplishment-oriented people should apply. The position will offer between 40 to 60 hours a week for approximately July through September. Compensation is commensurate with experience, on par with a Coordinator or Manager permanent-employee level.
