California Business Center Ram Advocate



The Ram Advocate is a revenue generating position responsible for business center geography of Ram Dealerships. The Ram Advocate is responsible for maximizing Ram retail sales & revenue, spreading product knowledge and the development of strategies and tactics supporting established targets in his/her business center. The duties of the position will be conducted in the business center geography and traveling to dealership and customer locations. The Ram Advocate will have contract advocates assigned to him/her to conduct Ram business throughout the whole business center.

Responsibilities include advocate for all things Ram Brand related at the business center level as well as driving Ram Truck retail sales, including small business, in the given business center. This person will be the Ram Truck Product expert for the business center and dealership sales teams including product content, packages, capability (GVW, towing, payload, etc.), and competitive product. The role will serve as an advocate for and conduct Ram product training at dealerships and off site training events as well as becoming the full size truck market expert for the business center including pricing, incentives, competitive positioning, and market share. It will also serve as the primary field contact for Ram communications including product advantages, selling strategies, marketing campaigns and inventory ordering strategy. In addition, it will serve as a short link of communication to headquarters on issues relating to product competitiveness, market positioning, pricing and incentives, training needs, and quality and serviceability issues. Also, the role will ensure that business center dealers are leveraging Ram partnerships, activations, events, and coop opportunities (Butts in Seats, Worksite tour, Camper tour, etc.) and also ensure proper levels of sales and customer satisfaction are present relating to Ram customers at all dealerships while identifying areas for improvement (corporate & dealership). Lastly, it will make direct customer contacts with dealership and corporate sales personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dealership sales processes
• Willing to relocate for promotional opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fields
• Sales experience, prefer truck or commercial vehicle sales related
• Excel in building positive working relationships, cost assessment and conflict resolution
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals under minimal supervision
