The Daily Press Media Group is looking for an experienced reporter who can help audiences understand how local economic trends affect them. The real estate and economic development reporter covers the housing market, the mortgage industry and the commercial real estate industry, as well as the organizations charged with promoting and growing the local economy (the Hampton Roads Partnership, Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance, Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, etc.). He/she tracks housing prices, foreclosure rates and home values in the region and has the ability to recognize and explain trends in the housing market.
