Core Delivery is the shared services organisation of dunnhumby which serves and supports 7 dunnhumby businesses (markets) and over 20 retail installations globally. We create and operate standard and flexible technology platforms which support a suite of products delivering business solutions for our retail and manufacturer clients.
Core Delivery serves the markets who in turn serve our clients. Core Delivery must deliver value to the markets. Value is defined as our markets benefiting from a shared services function versus having to manage and create such capability on its own. As a result, each market should benefit from lower costs, collective thought and greater innovation.
Overall purpose The purpose of the role is to liaise with both our clients (dunnhumby markets) and our development teams as the representative of Product Delivery, and manage and direct requirements for delivery projects.
The ultimate goal of the role is to ensure our client requirements are met in all delivery projects, and to ensure any new development includes and caters for implementation and supportability requirements so that all our products have the lowest cost of ownership possible
Key Responsibilities Lead the analysis of requirements from our markets for delivery projects Represent the Delivery team throughout development projects to ensure our Product Development teams are creating codeline that is easy to deploy and support Partner with the support unit of Product Delivery to analyse live issues and distribute to the relevant teams Work closely with our Development Directors outside of project work to ensure our products are being created which lower the total cost of ownership for maintaining and supporting our products Maximise the satisfaction of our markets by ensuring that our deliverables are completed as per specification Ensure the right market communication is taking place to ensure our markets are kept abreast of active issues and expectations are being proactively managed in conjunction with our Client Services team Be aware of and understand all products within the dunnhumby suite in order to optimize and align future product delivery

Responsibilities: KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/ WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential Bachelors Degree (or higher) or equivalent, preferably in a numeric discipline. A demonstrable track record of business analysis experience in the software industry Knowledge of industry standard configuration and release/deployment processes
Desirable Understanding and experience of our three major business units operate: retail insight, manufacturer insight and communications & media Multiple language skills - English as primary and Spanish, French or Italian as secondary Good knowledge and keen interest in software development and delivery Experience managing configuration and deployment of applications in multiple languages and locales Technical documentation experience
