Brand Communications Specialist Talent Planning (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)As our Brand Communications Specialist, you'll support our company's business objectives and brand strategies through compelling work on creative and responsive employee communications projects and initiatives. You will support the development and execution of creative marketing communications campaigns that build awareness, understanding, commitment and adoption of processes, technology and ultimately behavior. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the creative direction, design and layout of campaigns and collateral including: presentations, newsletters, support materials, brochures and more. You will work with the Global Transition Management community supporting communication needs for strategic change initiatives.
Other responsibilities will include the following:
- Contribute to the creative direction, design, content and layout of all marketing campaigns and collateral - Translate vision and strategy into practical action with measurable results, through the creative use of a variety of communication channels and techniques - Write, edit and produce all compelling written materials - Manage the development, distribution and maintenance of a wide range of marketing communications content including newsletters, brochures, web content, presentations, video briefs, creative briefs, collateral, organizational announcements, invites, HTML emails, status updates, etc. - Collaborate with Program teams to develop and implement creative marketing campaigns for key initiatives - Assist with pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production of promotional videos - Assist in the maintenance of web sites and email list development - Evaluate effectiveness of ongoing communications, consider best practices and other alternatives and revise and implement as appropriate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred - 5 years' professional experience involving marketing, advertising, public relations/corporate communications, preferably working for large consumer brand or agency that has supported a large consumer brand - Strong written and verbal communications skills - Extensive experience writing and editing for multiple mediums including print, web, advertising, articles and general public relations - Thorough knowledge of print and broadcast mediums - Able to prioritize, manage multiple projects, negotiate and conceive/create new ideas in a high-pressure environment - Able to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and develop consensus within diverse groups - Exposure to brand marketing - Sports knowledge and participation experience - Patience, diplomacy and the ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines - Hands on creative skills and knowledge of programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, HTML strongly preferred - Portfolio of work will be requested at phone interview stage
