Athletics Broadcasting Intern (Sports Marketing/Events/Promotions)

Our University, a NCAA Division I Institution, is seeking an intern for the Athletics Marketing Department. This 12-month position includes a monthly stipend. The Broadcasting Intern is responsible for assisting in all facets of athletics video services operation, which includes: knowledge of cameras and non-linear editing; edit videos/critique and work with student productions; create graphics (Photoshop, After Effects, Motion); managing game day production; assist with equipment training. The position includes serving as the pre-game, half-time and post-game radio host for football and men's basketball. This person will also be the lead play-by-play announcer for Women's Basketball, as well as selected baseball, soccer, volleyball and softball games.


Requirements

Bachelor's degree and prior experience in related field required as a student-assistant or prior intern experience. Writing and basic desktop publishing skills also required. The ability to work a non-standard work week is mandatory. If selected, a criminal background screening is required.
