Description
Working as a Senior Technical Architect (STA), you will be responsible for developing automated solutions to business problems. Experience in Java web application development is a must. To be successful, you must be proficient at the techniques that go into the formulation and implementation of the architecture/application, including:
requirements discovery and analysis
application of abstraction
formulation of solution context
solution alternatives identification and assessment
technology selection
architectural configuration
development of application using JAVA
Strong skills in JAVA, HTML and Oracle are a must. Strong initiative and communication skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships are keys to success; you must be able to work with business users from initial requirements gathering through final development and deployment. You will use your practical skills and experience across many application and infrastructure (operational) products, technologies, and services.
Additional Responsibilities:
Analyze a customer's business challenges and design a comprehensive solution that integrates smoothly into the customer's process
Responsible to carefully check for reliability, availability, and scalability
Establish, implement, and enforce appropriate standards in the creation and implementation of the solution whenever project requirements call for or would benefit from the use of standards
Project management, change management, operations management and financial analysis are integral parts of most assignments
Required to maintain a baseline of IT industry knowledge to advise on technical trends and techniques and apply them to the development of solution design
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Ten or more years related technical experience
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field. (Masters Degree is a plus)
Must understand and have experience in all software development aspects of application design, programming, testing, and implementation
Formal training or hands on experience in the following technical skills may be required:

Desired Qualifications:
Experience in building multiple versions of large customer facing systems addressing performance and scale

Takes initiative, quick learner and has desire to seek answers from test team members and other groups
Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
