We are growing our development team in Tampa, Florida and looking for highly motivated people working in the latest technologies such as MVC, JQuery, WCF, and mobile applications using agile development techniques.
The Associate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer for the Wolters Kluwer TeamMate Division has primary responsibility for quality assurance for projects developing TeamMate product software features from planning phase through implementation to ensure end-user requirements are met. TeamMate services internal auditing solutions for the tax and accounting industries in a fast-paced, Software as a Service (SaaS) environment. Associate QA Engineers participate in 2-3 projects at any one time utilizing Agile development processes. Iterations are completed on a two-week cycle, with releases occurring approximately every quarter. Associate QA Engineer activities include learning and maintaining a thorough understanding of all business unit products and process; participating in the planning, analysis, design, and test phases of QA projects; providing consistent communication with the QA team and project team; assisting with technical support; and representing Wolters Kluwer within the industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Participates in the test phase of QA projects.
. Assists in the planning phase of QA projects.
. Participates in the analysis and design phases of testing projects.
. Serves as a subject matter expert on quality assurance issues.
. Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of TeamMate products, services and processes.
. Represents Wolters Kluwer by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Wolters Kluwer TeamMate products and industry trends through various sources and initiative.
OTHER DUTIES

. Performs other duties as requested by the Supervisor or Lead.
Qualifications: JOB QUALIFICATION
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related discipline: or, if no degree, 1 year of experience in QA testing.
Experience, Knowledge and Tools:
Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in a QA Testing position, or 3 years' experience in a Product Support position, including:
. Managing multiple projects at one time.
. Microsoft Office Application; (Word, Excel).
. Web technology.
. Windows environments.
. Reproducing issues or defects and capturing details, artifacts and reproduction steps of defects.
Preferred Experience: 3 years of QA experience, including:
. 1 year testing web applications.
. 1 year testing SaaS hosted applications.
. 1 year working with off-shore teams.
. 1 year automated testing experience with: HP Mercury, Quick-Test Professional, Silk Test, or Test Complete.
. Virtual machine technology- (e.g., VMware, MSVirtual PC, Virtual Box).
. Working in an Agile development environment.
Preferred Knowledge:
. Relational databases concepts.
. Performance and automated testing concepts.
. Microsoft Windows products.
. VB Script.
. Java Script.
. Agile Software Development Lifecycle.
Preferred Certifications:
. Software Quality Engineering, software test professionals (especially related to web testing), Software as a Service (SaaS) testing or Agile testing.
