· Motivate and educate Aquatic Staff on customer service and sales
· Meet budgeted department goal on swim lesson and pool revenue goals
· Develop and implement plan to achieve program participation goals
· Track program participation
· Track sales and commissions; perform payroll calculations
· Deliver orientation, staff training, and performance reviews
· Ensure timely delivery of programs/lessons
· Match Swim Instructors with student to support student reaching swimming goals
· Quality control of aquatics program
· Manage pool areas and maintain staff coverage of pool areas
· Develop career paths for Aquatic Staff
· Order equipment and supplies within budget
· Develop and implement Aquatic programs
· Oversee equipment repairs and maintenance
· Oversee chemical use and pool chemical balances per local Board of Health standards.
· Chair monthly meetings with Aquatics Staff
· Work together as a team with all departments
· Know the competition almost as well as their own club. Requirements style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; COLOR: #bb0004; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* AA degree, preferably in a sports/fitness related capacity.
* Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, as well as current Lifeguard and Lifeguard Training certifications.
* Current Water Safety Instructor Certification
* Current licensed CPO (certified pool operator)
* 2+ years of management experience in a hospitality/fitness industry.
* Current or previous experience as a personal trainer strongly recommended.
* Excellent communication skills, customer service oriented, results oriented, experience in leading a team.
