Accounts Payable Specialist
■ Review/distribute/monitor invoices for required approval by management ■ Code to the appropriate GL expense line and process vendor invoices through Imagenow (the paperless accounts payable system) ■ Provide primary assistance to all users of common Accounts Payable systems "helpdesk" (Imagenow and T&E Software) ■ Process check disbursement and match vouchers/ invoices then mail disbursement and remittance documentation ■ Request ACH payments & setup of vendors to be paid by ACH ■ Respond to vendor, external and internal inquires related to accounts payable activity ■ Perform monthly closings ■ Maintain accounts payable vendor files ■ Ensure invoices process in an efficient manner and are timely paid
Other Duties
Assist with accounting projects and general office support tasks. These responsibilities and tasks will be coordinated with and supervised by the Accounting Supervisor.
