You will handle all aspects of accounts payable, including - Processing and coding vendor invoices with appropriate general ledger coding and ensuring proper approval of invoices - Cutting and disbursing checks for payment - Resolving vendor questions - Maintaining vendor files including W-9 and 1099 forms - Assisting in financial research as needed (training provided) - Carrying out other responsibilities as assigned by the controller
While you are accurate and thorough in handling files, cash, and reports, you are also a skilled relationship builder and service provider. With at least two years of recent accounts payable experience, you pay close attention to the details.
Requirements:
Some college coursework in business and accounting is preferred. Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, is a must. You work well both independently and as a member of a team, and your interpersonal skills are excellent.
