Account Manager 3 NetPro
Synopsis: This req is for an Account Manager 3 CBM position to support a strategic customer that provides over $40M/
year wireline and professional services revenue to AT&T. Candidates will be required to either have an existing TS/SCI
with Full Scope Polygraph or be willing to undergo the process to obtain this clearance. Minimum 5 years experience in
sales or sales support organization required. The position is located in Oakton, VA; Virtual Office is not acceptable.
The Client Business Manager is accountable for the overall revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and AT&T performance
within a portfolio of one or more assigned customers. The CBM develops and applies knowledge of the client's business
drivers and goals, and architects innovative solutions to address the customer's needs while maintaining and growing
AT&T revenue. The CBM develops and implements Client Business Plans to strategize on how to find and close
opportunities and build the funnel/forecast to attain or exceed quota. The CBM needs to also earn the customer's
respect as a business partner and measure success through the use of the Client Relationship Program.
Major Responsibilities/Results/Outputs:
• Develop account strategies and plans that maximize AT&T revenue growth
• Lead the Client Relationship Management Process (Client Business Planning, Stewardship, Customer Experience
Evaluation (CEE) surveys, and Shared Expectations) to develop a relationship plan.
• Assume primary responsibility for revenue maintenance and growth in assigned accounts, and direct sales
resources in the execution of that plan to successful attainment of revenue objectives.
• Exercise team leadership skills including enabling individual and team effectiveness, open communication,
resource alignment, proactive planning, and excellence in execution.
• Ensure client satisfaction as measured in CEE surveys or as communicated in Shared Expectations and
Stewardship meetings.
• Effectively utilize the AT&T Client Executive program.
• Develop and maintain strong business, professional, and sales relationships with executives and functional leaders
within assigned client base.
• Provide market intelligence and apply it for business success.
• Manage revenue assurance process.
• Develop and utilize technical, business, interpersonal, and persuasive skills to sell new applications, grow existing
applications, and maintain revenue.
Candidates must have demonstrated success in growing large, strategic accounts. Candidates must have outstanding
organization skills and demonstrated capability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates
must have excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in
leading teams to develop winning solutions (ie interfacing with contracts, pricing, engineeing, solution center, lifecycle
management etc.), but at the same time be able to work independently as required. Experience with Global services
such as MPLS, IPL, Satellite, Managed Router, Hosting and Internet is required. Familiarity with pre-sale systems and
processes is desired. Familiarity with ordering systems, processes and organizations is desired. Familiarity with postorder
systems and processes is desired. Federal Government sales experience is desired. Familiarity with the Networx
contract vehicle is desired. Technical and financial background/experience is desired.
