Summary:


The Account Executive will manage the existing portfolio of Purvin & Gertz revenue for the Energy Insight Team. The Account Executive is responsible for renewing the existing customer base, selling additional products to the existing base as well as the sale of products to new members. The Account Executive is responsible for achieving specified renewal and sales/upsell targets.

General Job Duties:
* Meet and exceed sales targets.
* Ensure client retention via responsive and proactive account management and support.
* Manage renewal sales process for existing customer base including setting expectations, changing needs assessments, negotiating contracts and processing contracts.
* Develop knowledge and thorough understanding of all Purvin & Gertx products and services, and apply knowledge to provide appropriate recommendations/solutions that meets their business requirements
* Establish and maintain executive level relationships in major functional areas of the customer organization. Utilize the relationships to develop strong revenue growth initiatives for all Insight products within assigned account base.
* Develop business plan to uncover new and expanidng opportunities within existing client base and with non-clients.
* Prospect and close on new sales opportunities within prospect territory.
* Accurately forecast expected sales and cancellations to Sales Executive on a monthly basis.
* Provide ongong feedback from clients to Sales Executive,s Product Management and Research.


Required Education:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required Experience:
* Minimum of 8 years experience selling services, content and consulting, business solutions or other intangibles to the energy sector
* Self-motivation
* The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Well-developed influencing skills.
* Good PC (MS Office) skills.
