SENIOR DESIGNER
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Serve as lead web designer for web design staff responsible for the design, creation, deployment and maintenance of web pages, e-mail campaigns and other online assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for functional integrity and maintenance of the website including updates and corrections, troubleshooting, and repair of design-related problems.
Serve as contact with various content providing departments in the development of new web based projects.
Develop new website sections; extend and enhance existing site. Determine standards and style for web site.
Investigate, evaluate and recommend website design strategy. Resolve related problems.
Work with other designers to ensure a high level of coding of design and coding consistent with current standards. As needed, leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Contact with web developers/programmers.
Maintain website in the absence of the Webmaster and Technical and Design Producer.
