Objective: Gas Station TV is looking for a Public Relations Manager to solidify GSTV as an innovative leader in the advertising, marketing, television, and media communities.
Responsibilities:
The PR Manager will lead all public relations, advertising, and promotional activities including:
Setting strategies and developing PR plans to meet GSTV objectives based on a complete understanding of the marketplace
External liaison to the press and other marketing partners
Work closely with internal sales team, creative, research, marketing, and sales operations for planning, strategy and sales package development to drive corporate revenue
Writing press communications and pitching stories to local and national media
Sourcing and securing interviews and speaking opportunities
Creating press and assist in the creation of marketing materials
Assist with marketing initiatives including outbound email campaigns for sales executives
Manage website and social media site updates
Organize company outings, parties, and events
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
3-5+ years of experience. Media related preferred
Bachelors Degree – Marketing / Public Relations focus preferred
Strategic thought leader
Media relations – Both local and national
Public relations and marketing strategy development and execution experience
Excellent written and oral skills
Experience with social media
Excels in team environment
Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Excellent computer skills – Apple/Mac experience a plus
Event planning experience a plus
