Account Executive, Fuel Social Media (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)

Our company is looking for an Account Executive to work with a motorsports-centric client. The principal responsibilities for this role include supporting and executing NASCAR, INDYCAR and other motorsports platforms on behalf of the client, with particular emphasis on social media, plus traditional media planning, tracking and analysis.


Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Co-lead sponsorship social media programs, including content development, site monitoring, measurement/analysis and recaps/reporting
  • Assist with traditional media planning, tracking and analysis, including radio, television and online
  • Support mobile marketing and fan engagement programs at the track
  • Create recap documents for programs and assist in providing year-end wrap-up reports
  • Update and maintain weekly, monthly and annual recaps, status reports, competitive reviews, etc.
  • Develop and foster excellent working relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Support account team across all platforms as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned


    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ year(s) experience in related field
  • Relevant internships included
  • Previous motorsports experience strongly preferred
  • Professional social media experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under short deadlines and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented and superior organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate work (self-starter)
  • A "pitch in", "roll up your sleeves" attitude and work ethic
  • Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
  • A writing and Excel assignment will be part of the hiring process
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability and flexibility to work long, untraditional hours, travel and weekend/holiday work as needed (up to 50% travel)
