The Intern will spend his or her term in a Design Engineering group working with the latest network technologies such as VoIP, IPTV, Broadband Access and cutting edge Routers/Switches doing a combination of software development, testing, analysis, etc. Prospective Interns must major in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Candidates need to have a good understanding of programming in C/C++ or Java, even if it is only through classroom exposure. GPA must be 3.8 or higher. Involvement in extra-curricular activities like IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu, intramural athletics, etc. is highly desired.
